r.e.t.a.r.d.

The R.E.T.A.R.D. is the Real-time Equalizing Transmogrifying Audio Routing Device. Its purpose is to act as an audio multiplexer of sorts, with functionality including volume controls, equalizers, and a simple impulse response filter. It will be controllable through both physical interface and UDP. Though the project was never completed due to time constraints, the design documents are still available here for interested readers. A simple diagram documenting the function of the R.E.T.A.R.D. is shown below.

After the R.E.T.A.R.D. is successfully designed, it was planned to be physically implemented, functioning in its designer's room as an audio router, a catalyst for technical conversation, and an added fire hazard.
